Traditional Sattu Sharbat

Ingredients:
  • 4 tbsp 100RAB Sattu
  • 2 glasses chilled water
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • Black salt to taste
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes
Instructions:
  1. Mix sattu with a little water to make a smooth paste without lumps.
  2. Add remaining water and stir well.
  3. Add lemon juice, cumin powder, and black salt.
  4. Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled with ice.
Sattu Paratha

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup 100RAB Sattu
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • Fresh coriander leaves
  • Salt, red chili powder, mango powder
  • Oil for cooking
Instructions:
  1. Mix sattu with onion, chilies, ginger, coriander, and spices.
  2. Make dough with wheat flour and water.
  3. Stuff the sattu mixture in rolled dough balls.
  4. Roll gently and cook on hot tawa with oil until golden brown.
Sattu Laddu

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups 100RAB Sattu
  • 1 cup powdered jaggery
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, cashews)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut
Instructions:
  1. Dry roast sattu in a pan for 5 minutes until aromatic.
  2. Melt jaggery with a little water and strain.
  3. Mix roasted sattu, jaggery syrup, ghee, nuts, and cardamom.
  4. Shape into laddus while warm. Roll in coconut and cool.
Sattu Smoothie Bowl

  • 3 tbsp 100RAB Sattu
  • 1 banana frozen
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Toppings: fruits, nuts, chia seeds
Instructions:
  1. Blend sattu, banana, yogurt, and honey until smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl.
  3. Top with sliced fruits, nuts, and chia seeds.
  4. Serve immediately for a power breakfast.
Bihari Style Sattu Stuffed Litti

  • 2 cups 100RAB Sattu
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • Mustard oil, pickle masala
  • Onion, garlic, green chilies
  • Ajwain, nigella seeds
  • Salt, lemon juice
  • Pure ghee for serving
Instructions:
  1. Mix sattu with chopped onion, garlic, chilies, spices, and oil.
  2. Make stiff dough with wheat flour and water.
  3. Stuff sattu mixture, seal, and bake at 200C for 25 mins.
  4. Break open, pour ghee, and serve with chokha.

  • 1.5 cups 100RAB Sattu
  • 1/2 cup dates (pitted)
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup mixed nuts and seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
  1. Blend dates into a paste.
  2. Mix sattu, date paste, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.
  3. Fold in nuts and seeds.
  4. Press into a lined tray, refrigerate for 2 hours, then cut into bars.
